In 2005 Shadrack started at MTN franchise as Sales Executive before moving to Vodacom in 2007. At Vodacom he held various positions in Bloemfontein Central Region and Pietermaritzburg KZN Region respectively. He has 18 years mobile and fixed telecoms experience within sales, marketing and distribution, responsible for
Market Share and Revenue growth in the Eastern
and Central Free State. He also acquired Capitec banking certificate at Capitec Firm Foundation programme in Cape Town in 2012 and has Agile Project Management Foundation Phase certificate acquired from
Torque IT in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He has extensive experience in field and retail management,
backed up with IT support experience from his early career
journey.
Shadrack Molete matriculated
at Kananelo Secondary School in Kroonstad and went further to study Information Technology at the Stanford Business College
(Now
iCollege) where he acquired a Diploma.
He is an alumnus of
Central University of Technology, Free State where he acquired Information Technology National Certificate and couldn't complete his B-Tech due to financial constraints.
Shadrack was selected in 2017 by Vodacom Central Region to take part in Vodacom
SA's Achiever Programme which was held in partnership with the
North West University (NWU)
and
Institute for
Technology Strategy & Innovation (I.T.S.I) dealing with numerous business case studies in telecoms space inclusive of market disruptions brought by IoT (Internet Of Things), AI (Artificial Intelligence), AR (Augmented Reality) and the world of abundance of storage, bandwidth and processing power.
The course included Business Management, Finance for
Non-Financial Managers and Risk Management modules. He completed the programme and acquired NQF Level 6 qualification
in Technology and Enterprise Management from
North West
University.
During his third year as a Sales Manager within Consumer
Business Unit at Vodacom,
he enjoyed the opportunity to study further with
North West University (NWU)
in partnership with Vodacom, Telecommunications Master Class
course with special focus on Internet of Things (IoT). He
acquired the SLP qualification from the
